Sabeus develops and manufactures fiber optic sensing systems for rugged environments, with a primary focus on the requirements of the Oil & Gas industry and Defense/Homeland Security.  Our systems consist of all-optical fiber sensor arrays, associated interrogator electronics, and specialized telemetry software.

Our interrogator electronics include a unique source laser with a phase modulator/pulse generator for launching light down the fiber, as well as the receiver electronics for demodulating the reflected wavelengths and translating them into digital electronic signals. Our fiber arrays are optically enhanced with polymeric coatings and have operating resistance to hydrogen and water absorption at high temperature and pressure.

These core elements are packaged in several configurations, depending on the operating environment of their intended applications.  In addition, we provide deployment solutions specially developed for the unique requirements of our customers.
